add tiktok research to claude.

add searchtok once, then ask claude what's working on tiktok and reels in plain words.

you'll need

claude on the web or the desktop app. custom connectors are on free, pro, max, team and enterprise. free gets one.
a searchtok plan. you pick one when you sign in.

open connectors
in claude, go to Customize, then Connectors.
open claude connectors
add searchtok
press + Add, then Add custom connector. paste these two:
name: searchtok
mcp server url: https://searchtok.app/mcp
press Continue. claude finds the sign-in by itself (Sign in now), so press Add.
sign in and allow
claude opens searchtok. sign in, then press allow.
switch it on and ask
in a new chat, press +, then Connectors, and switch searchtok on. then ask:
first question: what's working for pilates instructors right now?

claude says searchtok needs a plan: searchtok runs on credits. pick a plan at searchtok.app/app/billing, then ask again in the same chat.
i can't add a second connector: claude's free plan has room for one custom connector. remove one in Connectors, or move to a paid plan.
claude answers without searchtok: check searchtok is switched on for this chat (+, then Connectors). saying "use searchtok" in the question helps too.
the sign-in window closed: go back to Connectors, open searchtok and connect again. you land back in claude when it's done.
it worked before, now it asks me to sign in: a connection stays signed in while you use it and sleeps after 30 days without a call. sign in again from Connectors.
