you'll need
- the codex cli installed. [PLANS: not on codex's mcp page]
- a searchtok plan. you pick one when you sign in.

add searchtok
in your terminal, run:
command: codex mcp add searchtok --url https://searchtok.app/mcp
sign in
then run this, and sign in and press allow when searchtok opens.
command: codex mcp login searchtok

- codex: command not found
- the codex cli isn't installed, or isn't on your path. install it, open a new terminal, then run step 1 again.
- searchtok needs a plan
- pick a plan at searchtok.app/app/billing, then ask again.
- codex doesn't use searchtok
- saying "use searchtok" in the question helps. check step 2 finished: run it again if you're not sure.
- the sign-in didn't finish
- run codex mcp login searchtok again and sign in in the browser.
- i'd rather use a key
- make a key on this page, set it as an environment variable, and point bearer_token_env_var at it in ~/.codex/config.toml under [mcp_servers.searchtok].
